I had some time to draw during lunch today (I had an especially long lunch), so here is more stuff from Atlas of Human Anatomy For the Artist. Yeah, it can be a bit of a dull subject to draw, but I’m hoping eventually I’ll absorb some of it.
Right now I’m still getting back into the swing of things, so working from this book is a bit more “easy” than drawing from life, for instance. But I’ll try to do that soon – maybe later this week.
Anyway, these are some studies of the radius and ulna in the arm. I like these little simple drawings from the book – they tend to simplify shapes of the bones and show their similarities to other shapes & objects, which is helpful for me.
I hope you enjoy my messy, rushed handwriting!
