St. Ibb’s Church plus some gesture drawings

Another busy weekend!  I did have time for a longer drawing on Sunday & chose to draw another building – St. Ibb’s Church on the island of Ven (or Hven?), Sweden.  I was here last fall & it was very pretty.

I tried to move a little quicker on this one than my previous two building drawings.   I think I got the perspective & angles better than last time, but it’s still pretty tricky.  I also tried to add less detail to the roofs instead of attempting to draw ever single shingle (or whatever they’re called), so this was kind of an experiment.  I’m not totally happy with how it turned out, but I’ll try to think of other ways to do it.

So that was done yesterday – on Friday & Saturday, I did more gesture drawings.
