Scapula Studies

Scapula Studies, 2.24.15

Scapula Studies, 2.24.15

Wasn’t feeling well last night, so I do most of this in the morning & finished it up during my lunch break.  The title is slightly misleading, as these aren’t entirely scapula studies – it’s also the arm, clavicle, a little bit of the rib cage, etc.  But mostly how the scapula & arm work together, I guess.

So, just like the clavicle can be simplified into a bow shape, here we can see the scapula being trowel-shaped (the transformation can be seen in the top right corner).  Maybe it’s a bit of stretch compared with the bow shape, but I can see it.

Bones, bones & more bones.  I’m looking forward to getting to the muscles!
